Akashic Records: What It’s Actually Like to Open Them

Have you ever wondered what it's actually like to open the Akashic Records? Not just the theory or abstract concept of it, but the real, lived experience?

If so, you're in the right place! In this recent video, I share two case studies: one of my very first openings of the Records back in 2004 (when I first learned about them), and a recent opening from one of my Akashic Records Certification students.

These two openings look nothing alike. And that's exactly the point, since no two openings of the Records will ever be the same.

How the Records manifest for each of us - and how we interact with this field of higher consciousness - is unique and personal.

I hope these real-life, firsthand anecdotes of what can happen in the Records help you see the vast range of possibilities for connection & healing in this field, and inspire you to spend more time there.

There are no rigid rules in this work. No "shoulds" for what the Records look like, feel like, or how they're supposed to show up for you. How YOU interact with the Akashic Field will be as unique and individual as you are.

Even your own openings will likely be different from one to the next, since the Records are continually adjusting to meet you exactly where you are and help you receive the most relevant, helpful, healing experience in each moment.

To give you a sense of this range, here are just some of the things my students have experienced:

• Noticing, sensing, feeling, or seeing — sometimes out of the corner of an eye — the presence of a Record Keeper (or benevolent being of light in the Records) who's there to guide you. These can show up as larger-than-life beings who guard the "perimeter" of the Records, welcome you in, and provide safe passage... or even help you locate your "book" or find specific information inside the Records.
• Connecting with an ancestor or Loved One (the Soul of someone you once knew, in this life or another) who has an important message for you, or who wants to be part of your healing process in some way.
• Connecting with or seeing an angel or archangel. (YES, this is possible and I've heard many reports of it happening! Even though some other Akashic Records teachings say it can't. No one can dictate what's possible or likely to happen for you in the Records - only your own Soul has authority over that.)
• Seeing a Record Keeper or Guide show up in a form that resonates with you and holds special meaning; for example, as a Wizard, a Wild Woman/Medicine Woman, a historical figure like Jesus, Mother Mary, or the Buddha, or even a character from a movie you loved as a child, like a Fairy Godmother.
• Connecting with a Record Keeper who shows up symbolically as an animal; could be a tiger, lion, dog, monkey, elephant, butterfly, or even a mythical creature like a dragon or elf.
• Seeing (or sensing) an orb of light, a flash of color, or a sensation of warmth and expansion in your chest. A sense of finally being home.
• Experiencing direct downloads of information, where the information just flows as though it's your own mind thinking it or already knowing it. We might refer to this as a form of Akashic channeling.

Information and healing can come through as words, images, sensations, emotions, knowings... or any combination of these. There's no wrong or right way to receive.
